Harrow Weald Councillor Stephen Greek has called out the unpopular decision by Harrow Council to approve the dinosaur mini golf course at the Roger Bannister Sports Centre in Uxbridge Road.

Many residents have voiced concerns about the lack of on-site parking at the proposed golf course which will lead to congestion and parking problems in the surrounding residential streets. Currently only 50 spaces are planned for on-site parking, at peak times this will not be enough.

Cllr Greek has consistently pointed out that there is a similar nearby golf course in Watford and questioned why the Labour Council are so keen for this development to take place at such an inappropriate location. He said that the golf course will “stick out like a sore thumb”.

Harrow needs a Conservative Council which will protect our suburbs from inappropriate planning proposals and properly listen to the concerns of local people.
