Harrow Council's Conservative leadership has reset the Council's official priorities and vision.
After years of drift and a lack of coherent vision under Labour, the Council now has a strong framework to deliver quality services and positive change for local people.
The new priorities for Harrow's Conservative Council can be summarised in three bullet points:
- A Council that puts residents first
- A Borough that is clean and safe
- A Place where those in need are supported
Cllr Paul Osborn, Leader of Harrow Council said:
“I want a borough where residents feel proud of living in Harrow. Our new vision puts residents first, deals with the issues that matter the most and supports them in times of need.
Harrow residents want to feel valued and supported by the Council. While we are doing well in some areas, there is a lot of work to do in others. We know we can do better, restore pride and improve the quality of life for our residents. But we are also clear that this will not happen over night, however you should see the results over the coming months and years.
We’re already working to improve our customer experience; our environment and enforcement strategy for a cleaner and safer borough; and deliver accessible services to support those who are vulnerable.”
